The current promotion.
01.01 — The current promotion
A custom site plus a lightweight app — focused tools on a lean backend & database — for a fixed promotional price, roughly $7,000 below the standard build. Limited slots, time-boxed to the promotional window.
Book a callThe specifics on this page control if anything conflicts with marketing copy. Exact price, slot count, and close date for a given run are stated on the offer’s landing page and in your quote.
01.02 — What’s included
A typical promotional build includes:
- Design and build of the agreed site;
- The agreed basic app / tool (see the scope limits in section 03);
- Deployment to a standard host;
- A reasonable number of revision rounds during the build.
01.03 — What’s not included
Unless separately quoted, promotional pricing does not include:
- Ongoing maintenance, retainers, or support after handoff;
- Ad spend, media budgets, or paid campaigns;
- Third-party costs — domains, hosting upgrades, subscriptions, licenses, plugins;
- Long-form copywriting, photography, or content production beyond the agreed pages;
- Complex e-commerce, memberships, or anything listed as out-of-scope in section 03.
No guarantee of results.
02.01 — No guarantee of outcomes
Stacklumen delivers a product — a website, application, or tool — built to a professional standard. Stacklumen does not guarantee any business outcome from that product. Outcomes depend on your market, offer, pricing, content, budget, timing, and effort — factors outside our control — and therefore results vary from client to client. Specifically, and without limitation, we make no guarantee of:
- Search rankings, impressions, traffic, or SEO/AEO position;
- Leads, conversions, sales, revenue, or return on investment;
- Social growth, engagement, or audience size;
- Any specific timeline for “seeing results” after launch;
- Uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms your product depends on.
02.02 — Examples are illustrative
Any figures, case studies, or examples we share — including “40+ sites shipped” or prior client work — are illustrative of past work, not a promise of your results. The deliverable is the build itself, not a business result.
“Basic apps & tools” are limited.
03.01 — What a basic app covers
- A focused, single-purpose tool or utility;
- A lean backend with a small, simple data model;
- Standard forms, capture, lookups, calculators, or modest dashboards;
- One or two straightforward third-party connections.
03.02 — What it is not
A basic app or tool is not, and cannot be created as:
- A large or “enterprise” application;
- A complex or bespoke codebase, or a multi-service backend;
- A heavy or relational database with a large / complex schema;
- A real-time system, high-scale infrastructure, or heavy data processing;
- Extensive third-party / API integration work;
- A native mobile app, payment platform, or regulated system.
03.03 — Work beyond scope
Work beyond the basic-app scope is a separate, custom-quoted engagement at standard rates — it is not part of any promotional price. If a request grows past the limited scope during a build, we’ll flag it and quote it separately before proceeding.
Availability, slots & timing.
04.01 — Availability & slots
Promotional pricing is available to a limited number of clients per window, offered first-come, first-served. Offers are time-limited and end on the stated date, when slots fill, or earlier at Stacklumen’s discretion. Stacklumen may decline, pause, or withdraw an offer, or an individual booking, at its discretion.
04.02 — Limits & combinability
- One promotional offer per client / business unless agreed otherwise in writing;
- Offers can’t be combined with other discounts, credits, or promotions;
- Promotional pricing applies only to the scope defined in your quote.
Delivery, payment & ownership.
05.01 — Timelines & revisions
Any timeline is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee. Delivery depends on timely client feedback, content, and access; delays on the client side extend the schedule. A reasonable number of revision rounds are included during the build. Further changes, or changes after handoff, are billed separately.
05.02 — Payment & deposits
Promotional pricing is due per the agreement or invoice. A deposit secures a slot and is non-refundable once work begins. Non-payment pauses or ends work. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated in a signed agreement.
05.03 — Ownership & handoff
On full payment you receive the delivered build with code ownership at handover. Post-handoff changes, hosting, and maintenance are the client’s responsibility unless separately arranged. Stacklumen retains its pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and generic know-how.
05.04 — Upgrades (paid & free)
Stacklumen may recommend or offer upgrades to an existing site or app — including migrating an older Webflow or Wix build to the Stacklumen Framework (our native Webflow and Astro standard) — for a fee (such as a flat upgrade fee) or, at our sole discretion, at no cost. All upgrades, paid or complimentary, are subject to these terms and to the following:
- No guarantee of results. An upgrade is delivered to improve your site; Stacklumen makes no promise or guarantee of any specific outcome — rankings, traffic, conversions, revenue, or any business result. Results vary and are outside our control.
- Subjective preference is not a defect. Deliverables are assessed against the agreed scope, not personal taste. Stacklumen is not liable for dissatisfaction based solely on aesthetic or subjective preference — i.e., something you simply do not like.
- Indemnification & hold harmless. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Stacklumen and its members, officers, employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from an upgrade — except to the extent directly caused by Stacklumen’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Free upgrades are offered at Stacklumen’s sole discretion, may be modified or withdrawn at any time, carry no additional warranty, and confer no ongoing entitlement to further complimentary work.
- As is. Upgrades are provided on an “as is” basis under the limitation of liability in section 06.
05.05 — Hosting & maintenance
The promotional build price covers the build only. If you choose to have Stacklumen host and maintain the delivered site or app, that is a separate, ongoing arrangement carrying a monthly agency fee of $100/month — covering software and content updates, application management, dependency and security patching, database and server costs, and other operational app costs.
This agency fee is in addition to native hosting fees paid to the underlying host (Webflow or another provider) at that provider’s then-current rates. Stacklumen-managed hosting is optional and billed monthly; either party may cancel with 30 days’ notice, after which ongoing updates, maintenance, and platform costs become your responsibility. See the Hosting page for full detail.
Liability & changes.
06.01 — Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stacklumen’s liability arising from any offer is limited to the amount you paid for that offer. Stacklumen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or revenue. Your local consumer-protection rights, where they apply, are unaffected.
06.02 — Changes to offers
Stacklumen may modify, pause, or withdraw any offer, and may update these terms, at any time. The version in effect when you book governs your engagement.
How to reach us.
07.01 — How to reach us
Plain-language summary. These terms summarize the conditions attached to Stacklumen promotional offers. They do not replace any signed agreement, statement of work, or invoice, which control where they conflict. Results are not guaranteed and vary; included apps and tools are limited in scope. Where required, your local consumer-protection rights are unaffected.
