01 / The commission

20% of what we collect.

For every referral Stacklumen accepts that becomes a paying client, you earn 20% of the revenue we actually collect on that engagement — paid as the funds come in, typically at the 50% deposit and again on final payment.

Engagement Stacklumen closes $10,000
Your referral fee (20%) $2,000
Paid as we collect $1,000 at deposit · $1,000 at final

Fees are net of refunds, chargebacks, and discounts. Figures are illustrative — actual pricing is set by Stacklumen per engagement.

02 / How it works

Four steps, then you’re earning.

You make the introduction. We do the selling, scoping, contracting, and delivery. You collect on what we close.

01

Apply & get licensed

Send a quick application. If it’s a fit, you sign the Referral Partner Agreement and you’re an official Stacklumen partner — no fee to join.

02

Refer a business

Introduce a company that needs a website, a custom app, or paid media. A warm intro is all it takes — you don’t pitch, price, or scope.

03

We take it from here

Stacklumen decides which referrals to accept and handles all pricing, scope, contracting, and delivery. You can stay in the loop or step back.

04

You get paid

When a referral becomes a paying client, you earn 20% of the revenue we collect — paid as the funds come in.

03 / Why partner

Built to be low-friction.

This is a referral relationship, not a job. The whole point is that it fits around what you already do.

No quota, no minimum

Refer one client or fifty. There’s no target to hit, no obligation to refer anyone, and no penalty for going quiet.

Non-exclusive

Keep your own clients, your own business, and any other partnerships. This never asks for exclusivity.

Zero delivery overhead

You don’t set pricing, sign contracts, or deliver the work. Stacklumen owns scope, delivery, and the client relationship.

Work your own way

Your time, your methods, your network. You’re an independent contractor — paid on results, not hours.

04 / Who it’s for

If you know businesses that need building, you’re a fit.

  • Agencies and consultants whose clients need more than they offer in-house
  • Freelancers and designers who get asked for work they don’t take on
  • Account executives and salespeople with a network of growing businesses
  • Anyone connected to companies that need a website, an app, or paid media
05 / The terms

The deal, in plain terms.

A summary of how the program works. The signed Referral Partner Agreement is the binding document — read it in full before you sign.

Independent contractor
You’re a 1099 contractor — not an employee, partner, or agent. You handle your own taxes and expenses, and have no authority to set pricing or sign for Stacklumen.
Commission only
20% of the revenue Stacklumen actually collects on each accepted referral. There’s no base pay, retainer, or minimum, and no guarantee of any number of referrals or income.
Paid as we’re paid
Fees are paid as funds are received — typically at the 50% deposit and on final payment. Fees are net of refunds, chargebacks, and discounts.
Confidentiality
You keep Stacklumen’s client lists, pricing, and other non-public information confidential, and use it only to make referrals under the agreement.
Non-circumvention
Clients arising from your referrals are Stacklumen’s. You won’t solicit or directly serve them in competition with Stacklumen during the agreement and for 12 months after it ends.
End anytime
Either party can end the agreement at any time on written notice. Fees already earned on funds Stacklumen has collected are still paid.
[ Please note ]
This page is a plain-language summary for convenience only and is not the contract. The Referral Partner Agreement you sign is the binding document and controls in any conflict. Nothing here is an offer, a guarantee of income, or legal or tax advice.
